Each year, around 20,000 people suffer eye injuries on the job and some of these injuries even cause vision loss. Traditional safety glasses stop debris head-on, but projects aren’t always that simple. Metal, sawdust, and even glass can fly between the frame and your face. You need eye protection from all sides. Permanent side shields add an extra layer of safety, keeping your vision secure and healthy. By blocking debris from all angles, you get a full shield of eye protection every day.
Everyone should have access to eye protection. That’s why Ocusafe has the most trusted safety glasses at the best prices. We were founded by eye doctors, so each pair is backed up by decades of medical expertise. Order safety glasses or safety sunglasses with permanent side shields and get them shipped straight to your door today!
PD is the measurement between the black centers of your eyes. We use it to make sure your prescription lenses are perfectly in-line with your vision. Your eye doctor can measure it, or you can do it at home. Place a millimeter ruler on the bridge of your nose, just below your eyes. Look in a mirror or have someone align the first millimeter line with the center of one pupil, then read the distance. (Most adults have a PD of about 55-65 mm.)
The easiest way to order Rx lenses is by sending us a picture of your prescription — but you can add it manually too. Check your prescription for sections labeled left and right eye. Each eye has specific numbers assigned to it. Add those numbers to the corresponding boxes on the prescription screen. Prescription info is added after you pick your frames and lenses.
You need protection fast, so we ship most orders in 5-10 business days. Orders that include complex prescriptions like bifocals might take a little longer. We strictly quality-check each pair before shipment so you get reliable protection every time.
